LUX DIALYSIS CENTER
In April 2014, Lux Dialysis LLC was established with two members, and it has been providing hemodialysis treatment and services to patients with chronic kidney disease. The company also imports and supplies medicines, medical tools, equipment, and related accessories.
With professional support and technological assistance from the U.S.-based DaVida Village Trust and Bridge of Life organizations, the Lux Dialysis Clinic was launched in October 2015. Located in a fully equipped 433 m² facility in the 6th khoroo of Bayanzurkh district, Ulaanbaatar, the clinic was initially equipped with nine hemodialysis machines to provide medical services to patients with chronic kidney failure. The clinic followed international standards, using essential dialysis technology, equipment, and tools. As of January 2020, the clinic expanded its capacity to 16 hemodialysis machines (including 12 Fresenius 2008K, 2 Fresenius 4008S, and 2 Fresenius 5008 machines) and is currently treating 56 patients.
Over the years, the clinic has provided the following number of dialysis treatments:
- 1,075 treatments in 2016
- 4,368 treatments in 2017
- 6,613 treatments in 2018
- 8,022 treatments in 2019
Today, Lux Dialysis Clinic operates in a facility that meets international standards, with an experienced team of doctors, nurses, and technical staff specializing in hemodialysis treatment. The clinic continues to provide high-quality services in compliance with U.S. standards. The medical team includes professionals specializing in nephrology and internal medicine, supported by a team of skilled nurses, engineers, and technicians.
Lux Dialysis LLC also places a strong emphasis on addressing the social welfare of its employees. For example, the company has arranged housing agreements to be allocated for three nurses, one technician, and one cleaner, providing them with two-bedroom apartments in a 77-unit residential building located in the 22nd khoroo of Bayanzurkh district, Ulaanbaatar.
